2nd Grade Teacher
I graduated from high school in Tuolumne, California. I graduated from Cameron University with bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I earned my master’s degree in educational leadership from Cameron University and a master’s degree in school counseling from East Central University.
This is my first year teaching at Bray-Doyle, but it is my 12th year in public education. I taught 5th grade for 3 years at Lincoln elementary in Lawton, OK. I taught PE for 6 years starting at Woodrow Wilson and later at Horace Mann in Duncan. My last two years at Duncan Public Schools, I was the school counselor for Horace Mann Elementary. This year, I will be teaching 2nd grade, and 6th grade social studies.
I have been married to the awesome 4th grade teacher, Mrs. Wilson, since 1997. We have 2 wonderful sons. One lives in Duncan, and the other lives in Ada. We have chickens, cats, dogs, and one rabbit. Country life agrees with us. I have been doing a lot of gardening this year. I enjoy hunting, fishing, and playing music. I lead worship at Fort Sill Cache Creek Chapel. In my spare time (not much lately), I write children’s books, and songs.
