I started teaching at Bray-Doyle in August 1993.

I have taught the following grades:

• Fourth grade for two years (August 1993-May 1995)
• Third grade for nineteen years (August 1995-May 2014)
• First grade for three year (August 2014-May 2017)
• Dean of Students part time (November 2016-May 2017)
• Dean of Students full time (August 2017-May 2018)
• Elementary Principal (August 2018-???)

I met my husband,Tom,on February 1, 1989 in Weatherford, Oklahoma.  We married on May 23, 1992 in Duncan, Oklahoma.  We moved back to my home town in August of 1993.  Tom is from Ames, Oklahoma.  We have one child, Megan.  She graduated from Bray-Doyle in 2014. She graduated from Cameron University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in May 2018 and then a few years later received her Masters in Educational Leadership. She married Dakota Hicks on June 9, 2018. They live in Marlow with our grand daughter, Paicey and our grandpup, Whitley. 

• I enjoy spending time outside. 
• I love to fish, but I don’t have much time to do that. 
• My husband, daughter, and I are very close and spend most of our time together.
